Terms and Conditions Promotional Contest “Hotel Giveaway Jura Ono Coffee Machine”

Article 1: Organizer
This contest is organized by Astra Sweets NV, with company number BE 0432.549.427 and registered office at Bleukenlaan 18, Turnhout (hereinafter: “the Organizer”).
These terms and conditions define the rules and participation requirements applicable to the Roodthooft Candy contest, in which a Jura Ono coffee machine can be won.
Article 2: Contest Details
The contest runs from 01/05/2026 at 09:00 AM until 31/12/2026 at 11:59 PM and is exclusively valid for individuals who participate via Instagram or Facebook and correctly complete all required steps. This is a free promotional contest for the Roodthooft Candy brand, with no purchase necessary.
Participants can enter the Roodthooft Candy contest by following @roodthooftcandy on Instagram and completing the contest form on the landing page.
Participation is free and no purchase is necessary.
Article 3: Participants
This free promotional contest with no purchase obligation is open exclusively to individuals who are at least 16 years old at the start date of the contest.
Persons who do not meet the conditions set out below, as well as any individuals who have directly or indirectly participated in the development, organization, or management of the contest, and their spouses or family members – including direct relatives in ascending or descending line or other relatives, whether or not living in the same household – are not eligible to participate.
The Organizer reserves the right to request proof from any participant that they meet the above conditions. Any person who does not meet these conditions or refuses to provide such proof will be excluded from the contest and, in the event of winning, will not be entitled to claim the prize.
Only one entry per person is allowed (same name, same address). The Organizer reserves the right to verify compliance with this rule at any time. Participation in the contest implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Article 4: Entry Requirements
Opinions and comments posted on Instagram must under no circumstances be offensive, derogatory, obscene, or incite hatred or violence. Such content is prohibited. Any participant posting such content will be deemed in violation of these terms and conditions and their participation will be considered invalid.
Any entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions will be considered invalid. Any participant suspected of fraud may be excluded by the Organizer without justification. Any incomplete, incorrect, or illegible entry or identification, whether intentional or not, or any entry submitted in a form other than that described in these terms, will be considered null and void. The same applies in the case of multiple entries.
Article 5: Prize
We are offering one Jura Ono coffee machine:
The value of the prize is determined at the time these terms and conditions are drafted and cannot be contested. Any costs incurred after the contest, including maintenance and use of the prize, are entirely at the expense of the winner.
Article 6: Winner Selection & Notification
The winner of this promotional contest will be selected by our cheerful jury based on the submitted entries. The winner will be notified of their prize via private message by email within a maximum period of 10 days (no later than xx/xx/xxxx).
Article 7: Prize Delivery
The prize will be sent to the address provided by the winner.
If the prize cannot be delivered, it will remain available to the participant for 10 days. After this period, the participant will no longer be entitled to claim it.
Participants agree to accept the prize as offered, without the possibility of exchange for cash, other goods or services of any kind, or transfer of the prize to a third party. The prize cannot be subject to any compensation claims.
If circumstances beyond the Organizer’s control arise, such as issues with suppliers or unforeseen events, the Organizer reserves the right to replace the announced prize with a prize of equal value. The winner will be informed of any such changes.
Article 8: Use of Personal Data from the Contestants
The Organizer, acting as the data controller for personal data related to contest participation, processes this data for the purpose of managing participation in the promotional contest and awarding the prizes.
The legal basis for this processing is the participant’s consent to these terms and conditions.
The requested data is necessary for this processing and will be used by the relevant departments of Astra Sweets and, where applicable, by subcontractors. The data will be retained for the duration of the contest, extended by the legally required retention periods.
Participants have, in accordance with applicable law, the right to access, rectify, transfer, restrict processing of, and object to their personal data for legitimate reasons, as well as the right to provide instructions regarding the handling of their data after death. These rights can be exercised by contacting the Organizer.
Article 9: Contest Rules Access
The terms and conditions are available on the contest landing page.
They may also be sent free of charge to any person who submits a written request to the Organizer.
Article 10: Industrial and Intellectual Property
The reproduction or use of all or part of the elements of the contest, including these terms and conditions, is strictly prohibited. By participating in this promotional contest, participants fully agree to these terms and conditions.
Article 11: Liability
The Organizer shall not be held liable in the event of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances beyond its control.
The Organizer shall also not be held liable for delays, losses, theft, damage to mail, or illegible postmarks caused by postal services. Nor shall the Organizer be held liable, nor may any claim be brought against it, in cases of force majeure (such as strikes, adverse weather conditions, etc.) that partially or completely prevent participants from taking part in the contest and/or deprive winners of the benefit of their prize.
The Organizer, its service providers, and partners shall in no event be held liable for any incidents that may occur during the use of the prize by the winners or their guests once the prize has been accepted.
Furthermore, the Organizer, its service providers, and partners shall not be held liable for the loss or theft of the prize once it has been received by the winner. Any additional costs required to take possession of the prize are entirely at the expense of the winner, without any right to compensation from the Organizer or its partners.
Article 12: Disputes and Complaints
The Organizer reserves the right to resolve, without appeal, any difficulties that may arise in connection with the interpretation or application of these terms and conditions. No disputes relating to the contest mechanics, results, prizes, or receipt of prizes will be accepted more than one month after the end of the contest. Except in cases of manifest error, the information derived from the Organizer’s contest systems shall have evidential value in any dispute relating to connection data and the processing of contest-related information.
Article 13: Evidential Agreement
The participant and the Organizer expressly agree that the Organizer’s computer systems and files shall constitute sole evidence. Electronic records stored under reasonable conditions of security and reliability in the Organizer’s systems shall be considered as proof of the relationship and communications between the Organizer and the participant. Consequently, it is agreed that, unless there is a manifest error, the Organizer may rely on data, programs, files, records, operations, and other IT or electronic elements (such as tracking logs or other reports) created, received, or stored by the Organizer, particularly within its IT systems, directly or indirectly, as evidence of actions, facts, or omissions. These elements shall be admissible, valid, and enforceable between the parties in the same way and under the same conditions as any written document.
